Easy Instant Pumpkin Cider
When it comes to classic autumn drink recipes, nothing is more classic than cider. Yes, there is a pumpkin spice latte, which is close behind, but in my opinion, homemade cider won the informal competition.
In other words, I decided not to cut the traditional cider this year. So that's why I want to introduce you to instant pumpkin cider today! It is as warm and comfortable as the original version, but it tastes very delicious...in the best way!
Apple, orange and lemon slices are mixed with cinnamon sticks, pumpkin puree and maple syrup to make the most delicious homemade cider ever. I know this is a complete statement, but I also know that this cider will live up to expectations.

Let's start this sweet apple bar! Before we start, we need to organize the following:
Apples: I used honey crisp and Granny Smith apples and cut them into rounds. Gala and Fuji apples also work well, especially if you like the sweetness of cider.
Citrus: Cut some oranges and lemons into round slices to get the lime flavor.
Water: Soaking chopped fruit in water is an important part of making this cider.
Cinnamon: Soaking cinnamon sticks in water can infuse your cider with a sweet, warm flavor.
Star Anise: This is optional, but I like the added flavor of this spice.

Maple syrup: If you can, use pure maple syrup instead of imitations.

How to make pumpkin cider
Pumpkin cider is very easy to make, but it looks picturesque and elegant. The preparation takes about 10 minutes, which mainly includes chopped fruit. Then you will cook the cider in the Instant Pot, strain it, and wait for it to cool, by then you are done! simple.
These are the instructions you need to follow:
Put the ingredients in the Instant Pot: Add the cut fruits, water, cinnamon, star anise, and vanilla extract to the Instant Pot or pressure cooker. Cook on high pressure for 15 minutes.
Let the cider cool down: when finished, let it go for 10 minutes, then quickly release the remaining pressure. Remove the lid and let the cider cool completely.
Filter the cider: After cooling, use a strainer and cheesecloth to filter the cider, and then squeeze out all the juice from the fruit. Discard the fruit when finished.
Add maple syrup: Add pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice to the cider and mix well. Serve your cider with hot or cold drinks, enjoy it!
Crock method
No Instant Pot? Do not worry! You can also use your clay pot. There is more than one way to make pumpkin cider!
Instead of using the Instant Pot, you can cook the cider in a crock pot at low temperature for 8 hours, or at high temperature for 5 hours. Either way is delicious, so please feel free to choose your favorite method!
