_food & drink: Apple and Cinnamon Cake Apple

I bought a bottle of cinnamon in my spare time in the kitchen, but I didn't find any special recipes. When I randomly popped up a foreign language recipe, I thought it was quite good. The materials are not difficult to prepare and are very suitable for the cold winter days in Scotland. After writing the paper, a cup of tea and a cinnamon cake warmed up in the afternoon~~ The original recipe is from mary berry. I myself halved all the flour and cinnamon powder to make an 8-inch mold~

material :

113g butter

Brown sugar 113g

Eggs one and a half (large) or two

50g walnuts

Dried fruits and other dried fruits 50g

Self-raising flour or plain flour 113g

Baking powder 2tsp

200g apple

Cinnamon powder 1tsp

How to make apple cinnamon cake:

Preheat the oven to 180C, line the baking sheet with baking paper

Put an appropriate amount of butter, brown sugar, eggs, chopped walnuts, dried fruits, flour and baking powder into a large bowl and stir until the batter is even. When chopped walnuts, leave some for later use.

Stir the cake batter evenly with a spatula, put half of the amount into the mold and smooth it out, and place the apple slices in a circle. Sprinkle cinnamon powder on the apple.

Put the remaining half of the cake batter into the smooth, sprinkle the brown sugar and the walnuts previously reserved on the surface

Put it in the preheated oven. Bake for about half an hour until the cake is fluffy and golden brown. Insert the toothpick and remove it without any liquid remaining.

Remember to take pictures before chewing, oh dear! ^^

Tips :

1. The original recipe is from mary berry, I myself halved all the flour and improved the amount of cinnamon powder to make an 8-inch mold~

2. If you use self-raising powder, use 2tsp of baking powder, if you use ordinary flour, add 1tsp of baking powder.

3. I personally added more cinnamon powder, it should be half tsp according to the original ratio, but the more it tastes, the better~

4. The baking time is really uncertain. According to the principle, it should be 37 to 45 minutes, but my oven has always been very temperamental, so it will be gorgeous in 30 minutes~ Please master the details.

5. The original recipe uses walnuts and sultana, a kind of yellow raisin that seems to be seen in the supermarket, but I am too lazy to buy it and replace it with the ready-made dried cranberries and almond slices~

6. Look at the recipe ratio to know ~ high sugar, high oil and high calories! It's delicious, don't be greedy~
